CITIP Video Production Intern

Duties

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Video Production, Media Arts, or related field. 
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). 
• Basic understanding of video composition, color grading, and sound design. 
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an eye for visual storytelling. 
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the team. 
• Passion for video production and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. 

Assist project manager and project assistant with community organization projects. 

Requested Skills and Qualifications:

Student will assist in editing raw video footage into engaging and polished final content. Collaborate with the production team to understand the vision for each project. Perform basic color correction, audio editing, and visual enhancements. Help with organizing and archiving video assets. Contribute ideas and creativity to video projects, ensuring they align with brand guidelines. Support the team in meeting deadlines for video projects. Provide assistance with video pre-production, including planning and script writing, as needed. Stay up to date with editing trends and software tools. Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions. Provide additional editing support as needed for other media formats (social media, advertisements, etc.).
