Unique Private Psychiatric & Psychotherapeutic Group Practice

Seeking 2 FTE psychotherapy LPC’s or LCSW’s , quite suitable for therapists with families wishing to work part time either on site in Danbury, CT or from home anywhere.

Our thriving private psychotherapy, psychiatry and behavioral medicine group has an overabundance of new private-pay, commercially-insured and Medicare patients. To our current three-psychiatrist six-therapist team, we want immediately to add two FTE—up to four half-time--therapists.

We welcome applications from Child, Adolescent and Adult Licensed Social Workers or Licensed Professional Counselors, full- or part-time, looking for a permanent position.

Key features of the Psychotherapist positions:

- Full- or part-time, up to 2 FTE total

- Maximum possible clinical autonomy in a collaborative,

- multidisciplinary, minimally-bureaucratized setting

- Full credentialing, billing and administrative support

- 100% flexible scheduling—days, hours (see details below)

- Direct collections-based income of ~$75,000+ first year for

full-time—above the 65th percentile CT social work salary

- $120,000+ potential full-time yearly income thereafter, depending on hours and practice style --99th CT percentile salary

- Total compensation structured as though an independent contractor

- Profit-sharing

- Benefits plan including health insurance

- Lakeside location, 90% lake view offices set in beautiful Fairfield County, CT

Requirements of the Candidate:

- Highly-skilled at psychotherapy, preferably able to work with families, adults and children (or exclusively with children and adolescents, if desired)

- May initiate and run groups

- Familiar with or willing and quickly able to learn our EHR system (quick SOAP notes only, not process notes)

- Clinically flexible: Able to work both independently and collaboratively as required on a case-by-case basis

- CT state-licensed and eligible for insurance panels (we will manage the empanelment and guide licensure as needed)

Unique features of the position and of the Sterling Institute:

- Telehealth or on location as desired

- Your work hours are up to you, 20 hours per week minimum, no maximum.

Compensation is a percentage of your collections plus end of year profit-sharing. Benefits are paid for from total compensation but available at corporate rates

- You may incorporate as many non-standard hours as you wish, e.g., early morning, late evening and night, Saturday and Sunday.

- With some limitations you may work from any or many locations

- Potential (within the next two years) to help establish new locations both in- and out-of-state and expanding telehealth services

- We promote longevity and stability, and minimize turnover among both professionals and administrative staff (zero professional  turnover to date since 2016).

- Non-compete clauses: None. We do not believe these place clients’ interests first. We retain professionals based on their satisfaction as part of our team and earnings capacity, not by legal constraints.
