## Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology and acute care, providing exceptional patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on ophthalmic procedures and treatments.

## Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments

- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases

- Perform surgeries such as cataract removal, LASIK, or other ophthalmic procedures

- Maintain high standards of aseptic technique during procedures

- Engage in post-residency training to stay current with advancements in the field

- Participate in clinical research projects related to ophthalmology

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of physiology and its relevance to eye health

- Utilize electronic health record systems like Epic for medical records management

Requirements:

- Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology

- Board certification or eligibility for certification in Ophthalmology

- Proficiency in ophthalmic procedures and treatments

- Strong clinical skills with attention to detail

- Knowledge of medical coding practices for accurate billing

- Experience with aseptic technique during surgical procedures

- Commitment to ongoing learning and post-residency training

- Ability to engage in clinical research projects related to eye health

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems like Epic

Qualifications:
- Licensed in New York State Board Certified or Eligible

- 1+ year of experience preferred but not required

- Active New York State license

- Bilingual in English and Chinese(Mandarin, Cantonese, etc)

Benefits:
- Negotiable salary:

Salary $300k -400k for Ophthalmologists depending on experience.
