Duties:

  • Provide Cyber Security support for user tickets within Ticketing System 
  • Monitor network traffic for security incidents and events  
  • Work with vulnerability team to fix/patch vulnerabilities  
  • Participates in Incident Response and Business Continuity exercises 
  • Provide direct support for cyber security initiatives for clients remotely and/or at customer sites 
  • Perform Software/Hardware evaluations for new applications being added to the environment 
  • Assist in the review of Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance to the NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-82 requirements

Job-Related Qualifications Required:

Preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology or similar disciplines with focus on Cyber. Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies would be beneficial. Looking for at least freshman year completed.

The 2025 UCOR Summer Internship Program is a 12-week program held from late May to early August. You must be able to be onsite for the internship program.
