Responsibilities

  • Review images for potential copyright infringement and provide recommendations for compliance.
  • Analyze copy to identify possible libel, defamation, or factually inaccurate statements.
  • Assist in drafting internal guidelines for copyright and libel risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to ensure legal best practices are integrated into the publication process.
  • Research media law trends and regulatory updates relevant to digital publications.
  • Support the team in responding to any legal queries or claims related to published content.

📋 Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • Strong interest in media law, intellectual property, and digital publishing.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

🎓 Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or prior experience in intellectual property law, media law, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with copyright law and defamation standards in digital media.
  • Previous experience reviewing legal documents or providing compliance recommendations.
