Pay Range:
- The full pay range is $146,347.00-$219,521.00 annually.
- We provide an additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for those employees who can support our members' financial needs effectively in a second language; subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms utilizing language skillset.
Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.
Job Overview:
Designs a holistic talent management strategy for the credit union, focusing on aligning talent with the organization’s strategies and goals, while embedding the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) throughout all talent management programs. Develops and leads a strategic People & Culture Business Partner program to help align business objectives with Talent Management strategies, driving organizational effectiveness, engaging our employees, and prioritizing the highest impact solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Develops, implements, and continuously improves the organization’s talent management philosophy and objectives including how the organization will invest in and manage talent to achieve its strategies. Ensures the talent philosophy and processes are grounded in the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Forecasts long-term, credit union-wide workforce capability needs based on organization strategy. Leverages labor market trends, internal workforce demographics, and skills and talent pipeline data to determine organizational talent demand, skills, and capability gaps as they emerge. Works across the People & Culture teams to improve data quality and availability, integrate reporting, and build actionable forecasts.
- Builds an integrated talent management operating model in coordination with People & Culture Business Partners and leaders across the organization to connect talent processes, such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, internal mobility, career management, and succession management.
- Builds the Talent Management team’s ability to work in short sprints to develop minimum viable products (MVP) that are iteratively refined to meet business needs and drive results. Drives talent management solutions that are fit-for-purpose and generate value based on feedback, data, and outcomes.
- Develops a compelling employee experience by working with Total Rewards, People Operations, Recruitment and business leaders to implement the organization’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract and retain key talent. Provides feedback on design of EVP based on employee feedback, differentiation needs, and feasibility to deliver.
- Develops recruitment strategies, devising plans and initiatives to spot talent both internally and externally for key positions within the organization. Ensures Recruiting team works with hiring manager and employees to create and market specific branding messages based on what candidates care about.
- Creates a customized listening strategy to understand employee experiences and needs. Identifies how the organization will capture the Voice of Employee (VoE), analyze insights and improve employee experience.
- Develops the organization’s performance management objectives and designs processes for transparent and flexible goal setting, employee-initiated feedback, and multisource performance evaluations. Works closely with Total Rewards to enable optimized recognition strategies and differentiated pay to recognize, reward, and retain top-performing employees.
- Collaborates across the People & Culture team and organization leadership to establish critical talent architecture including job families and competency models to facilitate flexible workforce planning and development.
- Monitors the evolving talent management technology landscape and prioritizes capabilities that will have the greatest impact on talent outcomes.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in an HR function, preferably in a talent management or business partner function demonstrating an aptitude for aligning HR practices with business and team strategies. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in HR leadership roles, with direct reports, implementing team strategies and goals.

Total Rewards:
This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Includes an option for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance to be paid at a 100% by company for the employee only coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions, and Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA). Employees also have access to Life and AD&D insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan. Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time (may be prorated based on hire date in the initial calendar year).
All benefits except 401k start the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
