Integrated Marketing Intern


ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Integrated Marketing Intern on our Integrated Marketing/Revenue team, you will be essential in supporting the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive both client success and internal growth. You will assist in creating marketing materials, analyze campaign performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across efforts. This internship offers hands-on experience in integrated marketing strategies within a dynamic, data-driven environment. 

This internship offers an hourly wage of $18.00.

 

WHAT YOU’LL TACKLE  

  • Conduct competitive research to identify market trends and opportunities within the personal finance sector.
  • Assist with data analysis to evaluate campaign performance and identify key insights for optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Marketing Manager to develop marketing proposals and sponsorship packages for high-profile clients.

 

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Support the creation and execution of marketing collateral, including presentation decks, one-sheets, and other client-facing materials.
  • Build and refine marketing presentations that effectively communicate GOBankingRates’ value proposition.
  • Support research projects to help generate new client acquisition and campaign strategies.
  • Support the organization and tracking of integrated marketing campaigns to ensure all initiatives are on track and meeting goals.
  • Create detailed reports summarizing campaign performance metrics for client presentations.
  • Enhance communication workflows across marketing, sales, and operations teams.
  • Develop and maintain a library of templates and resources to streamline future marketing efforts.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for campaigns.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Must be available to work 24 hours per week Monday-Friday for the duration of the 16-week program.
  • Candidates must reside in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone to be eligible for this internship.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google workspace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, social media, and content marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

 

HOW YOU’LL LEVEL UP  

 

  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Tableau, Comscore
  • Experience using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a marketing or media environment.
  • Interest in personal finance and financial literacy.
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Slack
