Entry-Level Design Engineer
Summary
The design engineer will focus on design and development of bioprocess equipment platforms for use in biopharma. The engineer will design next-generation equipment for our evolving customer base. This role requires a solid understanding of CAD modeling software for sheet metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
Job requirements will include but not limited to, design of ConeCraft equipment based on user specifications, generation of detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Create 3D models and supporting drawings of ConeCraft equipment using Creo CAD software.
- Manage drawing changes with respect to customer changes, engineering change orders with attention to design for manufacturing and cost.
- Assists with investigation of emerging technologies to develop and proof concepts for new products.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication equipment and processes, e.g., press breaks, laser cutter, rollers, weld operations, machining.
- Works well in a team environment. Can self-prioritize projects and manage workload.
- Experience with 3D CAD Software. Creo is a preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- 0-1 year/s experience in engineering related field.

US BASE PAY SCALE $60,000 - $65,000/yr
The base pay scale for this role is what ConeCraft reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
