General Job Description:
This is closed-circuit television work developing and administering closed-circuit audio-visual programming for educational and recreational use by inmates.
Producing original media content and performing various phases of production are significant aspects of the work.
Assignments require evaluative thinking and are carried out in accordance with standard audio-visual reproduction practices and general work instructions. The employees in this class have controlling responsibility for the operational aspects of the prison’s closed-circuit television program. Work is performed under the general supervision of an administrative superior.
Minimum Requirements:
1. EDUCATION:
Completion of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university with major coursework in Communications, Studio Arts, Graphic Design, Broadcasting, Journalism, Video Production, or related field.
AND
2. EXPERIENCE:
Two years of experience developing, directing, or producing closed-circuit or broadcast television programming.
