Part-Time Pottery Event Host (Looking for current university students!)

Job description

Are you an outgoing university student with an interest in pottery and love for connecting with people?

We’re hiring Part-Time Pottery Event Hosts to lead fun and creative pottery events on campuses across the US! At Stone Meets Clay, we bring students together through hands-on pottery workshops, fostering connection and creativity in a relaxed environment.

If you’re someone who loves meeting new people, sharing your enthusiasm for art, and creating memorable experiences, this is the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Host pottery events for students and community members, ensuring a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
  • Guide participants through simple pottery techniques like hand-building or decorating pieces.
  • Create a positive and engaging experience by interacting with attendees and encouraging their creativity.
  • Manage event setup and cleanup to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Represent Stone Meets Clay as a friendly and enthusiastic leader.

Who You Are:

  • A social, outgoing individual who loves meeting new people.
  • A current university student looking for a flexible, part-time role.
  • Have some background in pottery or art (experience is a bonus but not required—we’ll train you!).
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading activities.
  • A team player who can handle responsibilities independently.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Flexible hours that fit around your class schedule.
  • A chance to share your passion for pottery and art.
  • Opportunities to build leadership, teaching, and event-planning skills.
  • A creative and supportive work environment.
  • Competitive pay.
