JOB TITLE: Intern - Nuclear Environmental

DEPARTMENT: Nuclear Environmental – Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Station
LOCATION: Burlington, Kansas
PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $25.00 / Hour
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Shift will possibly change to afternoons so interns can get the experience of working 3rd shift)

Intern Description:
This position will support natural resource and environmental tasks at Wolf Creek Generating Station.
Job tasks include but not limited to:
- Operationally focused aquatic sampling
- Land management activities
- Regulatory compliance support
Education and Experience Requirements:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree path involving natural resources, environmental, or civil engineering.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:
- Must know or be willing to learn to drive trucks, boats, and utility vehicles.
- Must be willing to work in outdoor conditions.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases preferred.
- Knowledge of common agriculture practices preferred.
Working Conditions:
A considerable amount of outside work with some office work and shop/lab work.
