Position Description: Worship Leader 

Reports to: Lead Pastor & GLCC Worship Director

Position Status: Part-time

Purpose: To provide worship leadership for a new and emerging church called “The Well” in Byron Center, Michigan. This new church works in direct partnership with Gun Lake Community Church as we  are one church in two places!

Hours: This part-time position has flexible hours that will depend on the experience and availability of the one filling the position. It is more about fulfilling the role than how many hours need to be put in. This will be worked out with any person who comes into the position. We believe that most worship leaders would be able to accomplish the role as it presently exists within 10 hours.

Future: This position will grow as the church grows. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience while being equipped and poured into spiritually. We want this to be a low pressure environment where a worship leader can grow and develop alongside us!

4. And that you have enough skill to confidently lead others in worship

Abilities & Responsibilities:

We need you to…

1. Inspire people in worship that keeps God at the center.

2. Connect with the Lead Pastor and Worship director before each week to create a meaningful service.

3. Build songs/orders of service in ProPresenter.

4. Conduct rehearsals as needed, sound checks, and worship services.
