MSL Internship Program
Program Overview:
- Duration: 3–4 months during the busy season, with a schedule of 3 to 4 days per week starting in April.
Program Description:
The MSL Internship Program offers a hands-on experience in both Live Production and
Shop Production, providing interns with valuable skills in the event production industry.
Live Production:
This track is ideal for individuals eager to dive into hands-on training. Responsibilities include:
- You will a part of a crew setting up audio mixers, projectors, video switchers, streaming, cameras, LED walls and staging.
- Participating as part of the show crew.
Shop Production:
For those interested in understanding the operational side of production, shop tasks include:
- Learning how gear is set up and tested before being sent to shows.
- Assisting the shop manager with day-to-day operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of clients and colleagues.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving, customer service, and teamwork.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Compensation:
- $17–$19 per hour, working 3 to 4 days per week.
- Upon successfully completing the internship, interns will be added to our freelance roster, opening the door to future opportunities within our network.
