The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Information Technology has an opening for an Information Technology Specialist I in the Business Management Branch. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 8th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation. 

Duties: 

Under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II within the Division of Information Technology (DIT), the incumbent will act as project manager to multiple IT projects and project scrum master on assigned activities; provide guidance to lower-level staff. The Information Technology Specialist I will collaborate with internal customers to provide solutions and communicate out to management and stakeholders on project statuses.

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
