Overview of role:
Research Intern will work with the Investment Team members on a group of industry sectors, developing in-depth fundamental research on companies in those sectors as directed by the managers. The position will develop models for selected companies as well as develop and verify investment thesis and valuation criteria for buying and selling those companies.
Job Responsibilities:
Research: Stock/Sector Coverage
- Provide equity research coverage for assigned industries.
- Develop understanding of industry fundamentals and drivers.
- Generate industry and company specific investment thesis.
- Perform fundamental analysis (top-down, bottom-up) and monitor a set of companies/stocks (through quarterly conference calls, meetings with management, discussions with customers, company press releases, etc).
- Create and maintain models for specified companies within universe (including revenue growth model, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement).
- Present findings to direct managers and Investment Team members. Update buy/sell targets and advise Portfolio Managers with regards to adding to or exiting a position.
- Develop valuation parameters for each company and update them as needed.
- Participate in and contribute to regular Research Meetings.
Applications / Skill Sets Required:
- Preferred Junior or Graduate Student with 2026 graduation date
- Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to understand and evaluate public company filings (e.g. 10-Qs, 10-Ks, Proxies)
