GIS Intern
The GIS Intern will assist with gathering and maintaining integrity of GIS data, advance asset management projects and inspect public works and parks and forestry assets under the direction of a public works manager.
Undergraduate student salary range is $18.70 – $21.76/hour, graduate students and those with previous related experience may qualify for a higher starting rate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in college or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree with a major in GIS, environmental science, water resources, engineering, construction management or a related field.
A valid Class D driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
Completed introductory GIS coursework.
Demonstrated ability to perform in accordance with the City of Plymouth’s CIVIC values (customer focus, integrity, visionary, inclusion and connection) and comfort with supporting and advancing the city council’s strategic priorities.
