Job Title: Venture Capital Intern

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and analytical intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the VC ecosystem, working closely with seasoned investors and innovative startups. The intern will support deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and research activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Analyze emerging market trends, industries, and competitive landscapes to identify investment opportunities.
  • Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through various channels.
  • Due Diligence: Support financial analysis, market validation, and assessment of business models for potential investments.
  • Portfolio Support: Assist in tracking portfolio company performance and preparing updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Work with data to draw insights and provide recommendations to the investment team.
  • Content Creation: Contribute to reports, pitch decks, and other communication materials.
  • Event Participation: Attend relevant networking events, pitch sessions, and industry meetups to expand the firm’s reach.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of startup ecosystems, venture capital, or entrepreneurship is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personality: Highly motivated, curious, and detail-oriented with a passion for startups and innovation.
  • Availability: Ability to commit for the internship duration.
