F2025 IT Finance & Treasury Technology Intern

The Finance & Treasury Technology Intern will be part of the Finance IT team, providing support to Lead Business Analysts and Developers consisting of extracting and analyzing finance data, developing technical solution, and supporting in unit testing. This position is responsible for working closely with the Finance IT Director, will participate in weekly intern cohort programming, and collaborate with other interns on a group project.

 

Role Description:

As the Finance & Treasury Technology Intern, you will assist in extracting and analyzing finance reporting data and developing tactical and/or strategic technical solutions. This will involve collaborating with Lead Business Analysts and Developers to understand the requirements and/or issues and in some cases describing the technical solutions approach to business users. Any implemented solution would need to be tested and signed off by you before releasing to production. As an intern you will learn to manage multiple priorities in an agile environment.

 

Functional Responsibilities:

 

A TYPICAL DAY COULD INCLUDE:

  • Extract and analyze data for various technical issues
  • Participate in developing technical solutions as part of various in-flight projects
  • Partner with business stakeholders like Finance and Product Control to either gather the requirements or explain the technical solution in business terms
  • Provide testing support for various projects
  • Building a network of colleagues at all levels of the organization

Job Knowledge Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft office
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and skills
  • Understanding of database concepts and technologies (SQL, Snowflake, NoSQL, etc)
  • Understanding of architectural principles and patterns is a plus
  • Understanding of basic accounting is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing dynamic team in a highly visible role

 

Qualifications:

  • Current juniors/rising seniors graduating in May/June 2026
  • Pursuing a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Web development and computer programming majors
  • Prior experience with SQL, Snowflake, and or databases preferred
  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel (navigation)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Salary: $30-40 per hour
