Job Profile - Sales Operations Analyst / Business Operations Analyst Intern
Conducts complex analysis, provides actionable insights, and makes recommendations to maximize the value of our processes, reporting, and metrics with minimal supervision. Responsible for developing efficient tools and processes in Business Operations, using multiple systems, to support effective business decision making at all levels of the organization that directly link to the key performance metrics to achieve revenue goals. This position will collaborate with all levels of management within the organization globally.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Analysis & Design
- Integrates complex data from multiple sources on an ad hoc basis
- Queries data and builds reports to support data-driven metrics and analysis
- Utilizes data audit techniques to maintain and improve data quality
- Independently gathers, analyzes and interprets data while providing in depth insights using reasoning and justification to make formal recommendations to management (Inventory VMI levels, CRM, Published Pricing)
- Participate in developing and supporting data requirements for CRM, Published Pricing, and Inventory
- Participate in designing, configuring, maintaining and improving required systems (systems include Infor CSD, WPCRM, Phocas, MDM Market Data, etc.
Partners with Stakeholders
- Partners with key stakeholders (Procurement, Pricing, Operations) to identify and understand key business objectives, scope, priorities, and recommend actions and strategies to achieve those goals
- Collaborates cross functionally on projects with internal and external resources
- Prepares and presents value-added analytical reports to management
- Provides input into potential process improvements for tasks and processes
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Degree: Working on bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, or related field
Experience:
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and reporting software (Business Objects is preferred)
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization to effectively represent topics
- CRM – Experience with supporting, reporting, and developing dashboards within a CRM platform, preferably Microsoft Dynamics and/or WebPresented CRM.
- Pricing – Published Pricing and robotics experience
Preferred Certifications and/or Licenses:
- CRM – Microsoft Dynamics certifications, Web Presented, or equivalent.
