Inside Sales Internship
General Description:
Embark on a dynamic internship for passionate sales enthusiasts. In this role, you will spearhead data-driven initiatives, mastering strategic communication and Salesforce proficiency to elevate MGK's national market presence. You'll proactively engage potential clients through phone calls, building connections and gathering insights to drive opportunities. You will also engage in consultative sales development, crafting strategies for virtual territories and refining skills through outreach and collaboration. Finally, immerse yourself in comprehensive data analytics, ensuring clean databases and leveraging insights to support a robust sales strategy. This transformative internship is tailored for those who truly love sales and are eager to deploy tactics that make a real impact.
This is a full time, paid internship and will be located in our Brooklyn Park office. The internship will run from May 28 – August 16 (Dates are flexible depending on availability).
Principal Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Sales Approach:
- Leverage data for lead identification and opportunity conversion.
- Evaluate company size, revenue, and growth potential for effective targeting.
- Explore additional sales opportunities within customer bases.
- Strategic Communication and Salesforce Proficiency:
- Proactively engage potential clients through phone calls.
- Build SalesForce hierarchy structures for streamlined data management.
- Promote MGK products within national accounts to boost market share.
- Consultative Sales Development:
- Develop a strategy for a virtual territory.
- Acquire solid skills in the consultative sales approach.
- Participate in local field sales shadowing when available.
- Comprehensive Data Analytics and Collaboration:
- Understand CRM importance; perform database cleanup for data governance.
- Research TKXS Inc database for qualified leads.
- Design opportunities within various-sized accounts.
- Participate in sales calls, assisting with market analysis and research.
- Collaborate with multiple sales levels for a holistic understanding of the sales organization.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for sales with a genuine passion for deploying effective tactics to support strategic goals.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably completing junior year.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, internal teams, and diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn Salesforce and other relevant tools for efficient data management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Previous experience or coursework in sales, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
- Flexibility to collaborate with various levels of the sales team and contribute to holistic organizational understanding.
