Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and provide necessary paperwork 
• Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other pertinent information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as blood draws, subcutaneous and intramuscular Injections, IV therapy, Shock Wave Therapy, assisting patients into hyperbaric oxygen chamber and OsteoStrong. 
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms for patient visits.
• Administer medications as directed healthcare providers.
• Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with all medical regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering patient emails, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and updating patient records.

Qualifications:

• Certified and proficient in Phlebotomy and Intravenous Therapy and actively practicing within the last 12 months.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
• Proficient in basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and performing subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Preferred: Passionate about functional/ integrative/ regenerative medicine.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
