Seeking a Business Development Representative for San Diego County who is a charismatic, polished, social person who is adept at networking and turning new contacts into potential business prospects. This role will call on property managers and building owners that manage billions in assets. The role requires a go getter that will get involved with various networking organizations for events all focused on commercial real estate. This role develops relationships that will yield leads that will be handed off to sales for commercial roofing services. These projects can have contracts that range from thousands to millions of dollars in work.

The day to day would entail making visits at property managers, making friends, taking the right people to lunch, and participating in monthly meetings and events with several different organizations that focus on the commercial real estate property management professionals and building owners.  Additionally, this Business Development representative will engage with social media, create, and post content that will be relevant for the position and clientele. This role is with a large commercial roofing contractor that covers the western United States. This company has been in business for 34 years, has private equity backing and is poised for decades of growth. This opportunity pays a substantial base salary plus commission, which includes a car allowance and expense account. Additionally, 401k and health benefits are included as part of the compensation package.
