We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented grassroots marketing professional to run our flagship Adirondack Harvest program here at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Essex County (CCE Essex). This is a high-impact regional marketing and education platform for our farmers in the North Country and the position includes a leading role in planning our annual Adirondack Harvest Festival.
Our AH Program Leader reports to the Agriculture Team Leader and works closely with the rest of the CCE team to spearhead local food marketing efforts in our region, develop resources to promote the adoption of sustainable agritourism, and much more. This is a unique opportunity to manage a one-of-a-kind program and engage with an amazing group of farmers and producers.

This position is a full-time non-exempt position - 100% FTE, 37.5 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $28.20 to $30.77 commensurate with experience. This position, based on eligibility, offers a comprehensive benefit package, to include health and dental insurance, retirement, vacation, sick, and personal leave.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or Equivalent Education (Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years transferrable relevant evidence-based research experience).
- Experience relevant to the role of the position.
- Valid New York State Driver’s License and the ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
- Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends, as appropriate.
