Position Summary


 

Join our 2025 Yes Energy Internship Program and enjoy the opportunity to work on exciting projects to shape your career in Marketing.The intern position will perform data analyses that provide insight on the marketing activities driving interest in Yes Energy’s products. Build your skill set and help our rapidly growing company. If you’re interested in kickstarting your Marketing career, this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to identify the best strategies to reach and attract new and returning customers.

Position Details

  • Internship Program Period: 10 Week Program (6/2/2025 - 8/8/2025)
  • Full-Time; temporary w/ no benefits
  • Hybrid
  • Location: Yes Energy Core Offices
  • Hourly Rate Range: 
    • $18.00/hr - 1st year Intern
    • $19.00/hr - 2nd year Intern
    • $20.00/hr - 3rd year Intern
    • $21.00/hr - 4th year Intern
  • Reports to: VP, Marketing


 

The intern will learn and be exposed to

  • Connecting the dots between marketing activities and their influence on the sales pipeline
  • Wide array of marketing-related campaign data, including analyzing website traffic, advertising, events, and webinars
  • Marketing Operations best practices: the behind-the-scenes work that supports marketing activities and allows the team to track and report results
  • The importance of using accurate, available, and complete data to make marketing decisions
  • Opportunity to learn the Salesforce customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Opportunity to learn the HubSpot Marketing Automation platform and content management system (CMS)
  • Advertising platforms such as Google and LinkedIn
  • Tools used to research prospective companies, such as 6sense and ZoomInfo


 

Project Work

  • Intern will analyze marketing-attributable sales opportunities, to identify which marketing activities drive results and observe trends in how customers progress through the buyer journey
  • Observe patterns in how marketing leads are engaged, with regard to timing and efficacy of outreach
  • Review campaign performance, to observe differences in how various company types engage with marketing activities
  • Identify opportunities to collect additional data to supplement current reporting and analysis capabilities
  • Data optimization in HubSpot Marketing Automation Platform

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Tools
  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and explore new things
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Economics, or a similar field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Intern Recruitment Process

Applications will close on February 2nd. We will contact candidates in late February to early March to conduct screen interviews, and final candidates can expect final interviews by late March.
