Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to oversee and execute the social media strategy for our e-commerce store, ONFEMME. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and driving brand growth across multipleowned social media platforms. This role requires expertise in social media management, content planning, and creative asset development to deliver high-quality content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
Note: We offer college internship credit, and\or recommendation letters.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management & Planning
• Work in collaboration with Social Media Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
• Manage and monitor daily activities across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Plan and maintain a social media content calendar, aligning posts with product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (e.g., engagement, traffic, conversions) and use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of digital innovation.
Content Creation
- Write compelling and on-brand captions, blog posts, and product descriptions that resonate with the target audience.
- Create engaging short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Develop interactive content, such as polls, quizzes, and Q&A sessions, to boost engagement.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
• Experience with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for social media, e-commerce, and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Knowledge of email marketing and CRM tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
• Familiarity with basic HTML and website content management systems (e.g., Shopify, WordPress).
