Speech Therapist – Long Term Substitute

The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) has a substitute assignment opening for Speech Therapist for our early intervention/preschool programs working with children ages 3-5 years old. This is an 8-week assignment with anticipated start date of February 21, 2024 to mid-May 2025 covering the leave of absence of a full time employee.  Assignment is approximately 40 working days.

This position is responsible for providing evaluations and therapy to eligible preschool children, consultation to staff and completion of necessary paperwork. Work settings include homes, child cares and CSIU early intervention classrooms. 

Wage:  $150.00 per diem following a 7.5 hours per day / 37.5 hours per week schedule.

Education requirements include:

• A Master’s degree in the area of Speech/Language. 
• A valid Pennsylvania Speech / Language Impaired PK-12 certification
• A valid Pennsylvania Speech Therapist license.
