R&D Internship

Job Overview

The Research and Development Intern will work directly with T2E Research & Development Team at both of T2earth’s locations, the corporate HQ in Evans, GA and the nearby testing location in Appling, GA. The primary responsibilities of the Research and Development Intern will be to assist in the performance of product testing, entering test results data into the test results tracker, and assisting the Chief Innovation Officer and Research and Development Team in analyzing results, patterns, and planning additional testing protocols based on prior results.

A portion of the position responsibilities may be handled from a remote work location. These remote work responsibilities may include scientific community research, patent landscape review, relevant science and academic journal research and certain commercial product applications market research and the reporting of key findings from these areas. The Research and Development Intern role is considered essential and provides unparalleled exposure to senior management with potential for future upward mobility in the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist the Chief Innovation Officer with R&D research of T2earth’s proprietary products.
  • Perform hands-on product testing with guidance from Chief Innovation Officer.
  • Record testing parameters, coordinate test analysis with research partners, and update internal database trackers with test results.
  • Transport and coordinate sample and product results to research partners.
  • Interact with other plant personnel to acquire required materials and communicate with senior management daily.
  • Perform scientific community research, patent landscape review, relevant science and academic journal research.
  • Assist in compilation and refinement of data from a variety of sources.
  • Assist in production of technical reports.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations to project teams and upper management.
