Graphics & Communications Intern
The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) is seeking a highly motivated student who is passionate about marketing and communications for a part-time internship. This internship will provide hands-on experience for coordinating marketing campaigns, designing digital assets, publishing content, and writing communications for thought leadership. This position will report to the Senior Director of Major Events.
Key Responsibilities include:
Communications Support
• Work closely with senior staff to draft and manage communications and content including website pages, emails, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, as well as event communications
• Assist in the creation of content posts for TAG’s growing audience on LinkedIn of 20,000+ followers
• Assist in the development and design TAG’s weekly email newsletter, TAG Top Picks
Creative Asset Development
• Edit videos / publish to YouTube and website
Project Management
• Support overall programmatic operations within the organization as needed
Requirements & Preferred Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong content copy creation skills
• Proven ability and willingness to learn new things quickly
• Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills
• Ability to contribute to team projects with a “whatever it takes” attitude and approach.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, and support a functionally organized, technically oriented environment
• Experience with social media content writing and strategy, particularly on LinkedIn
• Experience with digital content strategy, including e-communications and digital awareness campaigns
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platform required
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing platforms, such as Sprout Social, Google Analytics, or Hootsuite.
