Position Summary:
The Department of Surgery within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), is seeking a highly qualified Trauma Critical Care Surgeon. This full-time position will be based at our major affiliated teaching hospitals, with an appointment at the Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor level.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing trauma and critical care services and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient-centered care. Overall duties include:
- Serving as attending physician for inpatient trauma and critical care services
- Providing consultation, treatment, and follow-up for trauma and critically ill patients
- Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students
- Engaging in clinical and basic science research, as well as participating in clinical trials that promote advancements in trauma and critical care

Minimum Qualifications:
MD or equivalent degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Trauma/Critical Care Surgery. Fellowship training in Trauma/Critical Care
