Summary

The Jennings Local School District, located in rural Northwest Ohio, seeks a dynamic and versatile 7-12 Physical Sciences Teacher to join our dedicated team. This position is ideal for an educator passionate about teaching various science courses across multiple grade levels in a small school setting with an opportunity to develop your area of focus.

Position Details: 

  • Teach a range of courses, such as 7th grade science, physical science, chemistry and physics.
  • Work with students in grades 7-12, fostering a love for science and inquiry-based learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a close-knit, supportive educational environment.
  • Contribute to a small but vibrant school community.
  • Science department consists of two high school teachers and one middle school teacher.

Qualifications Required:

  • Certification: Physical Sciences is preferred
  • Background Check: Applicant must pass BCI/FBI background check
  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
  • Career Level: Teacher Certificate/Licensure
