Electrical Engineer - Systems Engineering

We're looking for a newly graduated Electrical Engineer, in our Systems Engineering team, who will apply their skills to advance internal product development and aid in customer integration and adoption activities. This will be achieved through the analysis and support of sensor systems at each stage in the product lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
Location: Syracuse, NY - onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evolution and development of new cutting-edge sensor technology:
- Work in a small, dedicated team passionate about solving challenging problems and delivering results
- Design and develop algorithms and analysis methods and tools for radar, direction finding, or other surveillance sensor systems
- Organize and participate in design and code reviews
- Play an active role in the verification and validation of hardware and software platforms:
- Weigh in on the planning and design of live test events both internal and external
- Provide hands-on support for the test of surveillance sensor systems
- Develop methods and tools to analyze and evaluate radar and surveillance sensor system performance
- Author test reports and draw data-driven conclusions and recommendations based on test results

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- A working knowledge of:
- Digital signal processing
- Analytical programming platforms such as MATLAB or Python
- Probabilistic and statistical analysis techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal oversight
- Ability to travel 10%
