About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven ability to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. This role will be instrumental in shaping the look and feel of our platform and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience. Goalbound is a fully remote organization. We are planning a team-building trip to Chicago this spring.

 

Job Title: UI/UX Developer

 

Part Time or Full time: Part-time, 5 hours per week, start date February 2025

 

Pay: $30/hour

 

Minimum Requirements:


Strong portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a high level of visual design skills.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Passion for creating user-friendly and engaging digital experiences.
[Key addition]: Demonstrated ability to articulate and defend design decisions, considering factors such as color theory, typography, and accessibility.

 

Expected Responsibilities

Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs and pain points.
Design wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
Create high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications, including UI elements, interactions, and visual styles.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design decisions align with business goals.
Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the platform.
Stay up-to-date on the latest UI/UX trends and technologies.
Contribute to the overall user experience strategy and roadmap.

Attend weekly meetings Wednesdays 8:30-9:30PM EST
