Summary
Close the Loop is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician in Hebron KY. This role will support our EH&S program and will report to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager. The EH&S Technician will assist with a wide range of routine assignments including but not limited to development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures to support the plant-wide EH&S efforts. The nature of work involves data collection, working on the production floor, research, and training.
All work must be conducted in accordance with the requirements of Close the Loop’s management system and documented procedures which includes responsibility for maintaining product quality standards.
Responsibilities
EH&S Technician Job Duties: (Actual duties and responsibilities may vary as a result of corporate directives, departmental objectives and special projects, in addition to the duties outlined below.)
- ISO Compliance: Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Internal Audits: Assist with and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Corrective Action System: Help manage corrective actions by identifying root causes, tracking resolutions, and improving processes.
- Document Management System: Assist with maintaining and organizing the document management system to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- OSHA Compliance: Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments to support OSHA compliance initiatives.
- Incident Response: Participate in investigations and contribute to corrective and preventative measures to enhance workplace safety.
- Training Support: Help develop and deliver EHS training to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
- Assisting with various duties as needed.
Qualifications

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 1–3 years of work experience in EHS or a related field.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and OSHA regulations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment
- Position typically works in a production floor environment including loud noises and some airborne particles present.
- PPE required, but not limited to: steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
