UWM Dining and Retail Services Marketing Data Analyst

The Data Analyst delivers a high level of data analysis, reporting, and strategic insight to support marketing within UWM Dining & Retail Services. This role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to collect, analyze, and present data. This position reports to the UWM Dining & Retail Services – Marketing team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Experience working with datasets and generating reports.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and software.
  • Experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather, clean, and maintain large data sets.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Build relationships and effective communication techniques
    • Communicates timelines and required information internally and externally (stakeholders and clients)
    • Facilitates interdepartmental communication and teamwork
    • Utilizes available tools to drive creative consensus and decision-making
  • Additional support and projects as assigned and needed
