Distribution Sales Manager

Kuebler Inc., a global leader in encoders, slip rings, and counters, is seeking an experienced Distribution Sales Manager with a strong electrical and technical background, particularly in encoders, to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

The Distribution Sales Manager will oversee and grow regional and national distribution accounts, focusing on sales growth, relationship management, and technical support. This role combines strategic planning, technical expertise, and customer engagement to expand Kuebler's market presence.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth: Maintain, support, and expand sales with regional distribution accounts and end-user partners.
  • Strategic Outreach: Conduct regular sales calls with distributors and end users to gather customer feedback and identify new product development opportunities.
  • Territory Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive Time & Territory Plan to engage all distributor and representative locations within North America.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of Kuebler’s technical capabilities and product offerings, particularly encoders, to provide customized solutions and value-added proposals.
  • Customer Engagement: Prepare and deliver presentations showcasing Kuebler’s capabilities and solutions to customers and prospects.
  • CRM Management: Actively manage and maintain a sales funnel within CRM, tracking opportunities and driving pipeline growth.
  • Customer Support: Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and handle product returns, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Value Selling: Leverage value-selling techniques to position Kuebler’s products as superior solutions to customer needs.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and engage new distributor and customer opportunities, presenting tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Event Participation: Represent Kuebler at trade shows, customer events, and field sales meetings to promote products and engage with stakeholders.

Qualifications Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Five years of experience in industrial distribution sales, preferably with encoders or similar products.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets using a solution-based selling approach.
  • Experience working with OEMs, MROs, or industrial partners.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong electrical and technical expertise, particularly in encoders and industrial automation.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to provide customized solutions and convey the total value to customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Enterprise CRM systems.
  • Self-starter with strong sales drive, detail orientation, and consistent follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.

Pay: $70,600.00 - $95,307.00 per year
