Comprised of a dedicated team of five attorneys and four case managers, we support individuals and corporations who move around the globe. We are looking for a Case Manager who fosters our high standards of providing empathetic, detail-oriented, responsive, and effective legal services to our clientele. 

Duties:

  • Collect and assemble materials for “green card” applications and other supplemental applications;
  • Strategically organize a wide range of documentation, including materials pertaining to career accomplishment, financial records, corporate businesses, familial relationships, and other evidence required to demonstrate eligibility for an immigration benefit;
  • Draft components of employment-based petitions for temporary visas and family-based and employment-based permanent residence applications to be filed with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services;
  • Conduct research on a variety of topics including biomedical sciences, sports, the arts, and the business sector as it relates to our immigration cases and our client’s extraordinary abilities and summarize your findings in writing;
  • Produce impressive written work in relation to immigration cases such as detailed support letters on behalf of employers, personal affidavits, and letters from the perspective of experts in a particular field;
  • Communicate both effectively and professionally by telephone and email with clients to answer basic questions about their case preparation;
  • Maintain an understanding of the immigrant visa process at large;
  • This position also involves some administrative duties.
  • This is a hybrid position that requires 3 in-office days each week. 

Qualifications:

The work performed in this position is highly complex and specialized.  We are looking for someone willing and able to support the preparation of complicated filings in the face of time-sensitive deadlines. This position is both very challenging and very rewarding.  The basic requirements are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Experience with written work product
  • Ability to operate autonomously when given general guidance
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a very fast-paced environment
  • Ability to move efficiently between ongoing long-term projects
  • Leads with critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear, friendly responses to clients’ inquiries about their case
  • Strong interest in the legal profession or immigration law is a plus 
  • Adequately tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Apple Products)

Salary and Monetary Benefits:

  • $22 - $24 per hour
