Environmental Intern (Compliance)
JOB SUMMARY
Work with an established Compliance team assisting and supporting with a broad range of functions, including but not limited to field inspections, technical reporting, plan preparation, and quality of the work product.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Learn existing regulations and develop strategies to ensure client compliance
- Complete assigned projects under the guidance of a Compliance Manager to achieve established objectives and deadlines
- Assist with the preparation of compliance reports, updating plans, conducting sampling activities, etc.
- Assist with Tier II and Form R reports, various regulatory applications, and storm water and oil spill plans
- Assist Compliance Consultant in developing relationships with new clients and maintaining core and transitional clients.
- Participate on all Project Team activities.

- General knowledge of existing regulations

- Work cooperatively with internal and external customers
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Working towards a bachelor’s degree in in Environmental Science or related field
Skills: Strong computer and verbal/written communication skills are a must
JOB CONTEXT
50 – 75% office (controlled environment), 25 – 50% field/site visit travel (environmental job hazards)
