
Community & Engagement Manager Intern
What we're looking for
We are looking for a proactive and creative Community & Engagement Manager Intern to support our patient experience and social media efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mental health, digital marketing, and community building. You will play a key role in content creation, engaging with patients, and ensuring a seamless experience for those seeking ADHD care through occupational therapy.
Skills and Fit
- Experience in social media marketing, community management, or customer success in healthcare or wellness industries
- Strong content creation skills, including writing, design, and video production for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter
- Ability to develop and execute social media strategies that drive engagement and patient acquisition
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with patients and address their needs proactively
- Experience in managing customer support inquiries, ensuring a positive patient experience
- Data-driven mindset to track engagement, optimize content, and improve patient outreach efforts
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including therapists and marketing, to refine messaging and patient support strategies

About Us
Melo is an early stage digital health startup connecting occupational therapists with patients such as ADHD adults for insurance-covered care. Melo handles insurance credentialing, billing, matching, marketing, and admin—so providers can focus on care delivery and patients can access covered services.
Time commitment
At least half time initially, up to full time.
