JOB DESCRIPTION:
General Purpose
Assist with maintaining safe work environment & general upkeep of Herron Sculpture shops.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (assign % of time spent in each area = total 100%)
- 50% Assisting students outside of class maintain safety protocol
- 50% Assisting with the general maintenance of the Herron Sculpture shops
- Tools and Equipment Used (if any)
- Pallet jack, some wood shop equipment, some metal shop equipment
Skills/Experience Gained in this Role (related toward student’s career/academic progress or major, and Principles of Undergraduate Learning)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of most wood and metal shop equipment
- Skill in mold-making, wood working and shop organization
- Ability to follow directions carefully and be on time
- Must be enrolled at Herron School of Art & Design.
- Ability to assertively prompt shop users to comply with safety guidelines.
