2025 IT Site Reliability Engineer Intern
The IT Site Reliability Engineer Intern will be part of the Infra Site Reliability & Automation in the Infrastructure Operations tower, which is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the company's infrastructure and applications. This position is responsible for working closely with the team, will participate in weekly intern cohort programming, and collaborate with other interns on a group project.
Role Description:
As an SRE Engineer with Analytic experience, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the company's infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain monitoring and analytics solutions to identify and resolve issues proactively. Your role will involve analyzing system performance data, identifying trends, and implementing improvements to optimize system performance and availability.

Job Knowledge Requirements:
- Analytical thinking: Ability to analyze complex system performance data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Programming and scripting: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
- Monitoring analytics tools: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk, and analytics tools like ELK stack or Kibana.
- Cloud technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience in deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
- Collaboration and communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, document processes, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Current students with an expected graduation date of May/June 2026
- Current Undergraduate student of Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent majors
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and documentation skills
- Prior experience with Microsoft technologies and scripting would be preferred
