Mosaic Film Experience: Programming Intern (Remote)
Position Overview
Join the Mosaic Film Experience team as a Programming Intern, supporting the education/programming team with film competition programming and operational functions. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in arts administration, nonprofit management, and youth education through digital media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and managing national film competition submissions
- Provide administrative support for day-to-day operations
- Participate in film judging process and evaluation
- Help coordinate judging panels and scheduling
- Support event planning and coordination
- Assist with communication with participants and stakeholders
- Assist with data entry and database management
- Maintain detailed records and documentation
- Assist with social media management
- Support team in execution of creative projects
Required Qualifications:
- Strong verbal, written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, time and project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive programs
- Interest in education and youth development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in or previous involvement with film festivals, competitions, or educational programs
- Background or current studies in film, media arts, business administration, or nonprofit management
- Skills in areas of graphic design, photography, and video editing
- Enthusiasm for arts education or youth development
- Basic event planning experience helpful but not required
- Familiarity with database or spreadsheet management
- Willingness to learn Monday.com project management software
Time Commitment:
- Position available February 2025 - May 2025
- Flexible scheduling available
- Part-time position (hours per week to be discussed)
