Programming Intern

Mosaic Film Experience: Programming Intern (Remote)

Position Overview

Join the Mosaic Film Experience team as a Programming Intern, supporting the education/programming team with film competition programming and operational functions. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in arts administration, nonprofit management, and youth education through digital media. 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and managing national film competition submissions
  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day operations
  • Participate in film judging process and evaluation
  • Help coordinate judging panels and scheduling
  • Support event planning and coordination
  • Assist with communication with participants and stakeholders
  • Assist with data entry and database management
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation
  • Assist with social media management
  • Support team in execution of creative projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive programs
  • Interest in education and youth development
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in or previous involvement with film festivals, competitions, or educational programs
  • Background or current studies in film, media arts, business administration, or nonprofit management
  • Skills in areas of graphic design, photography, and video editing
  • Enthusiasm for arts education or youth development
  • Basic event planning experience helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with database or spreadsheet management
  • Willingness to learn Monday.com project management software

Time Commitment:

  • Position available February 2025 - May 2025
  • Flexible scheduling available
  • Part-time position (hours per week to be discussed)
