Marketing Intern – Join the Team at PSC!

About the Opportunity:
The Professional Services Council (PSC) is looking for an enthusiastic and curious Marketing Intern to dive into exciting B2B and B2G marketing projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience with website updates, social media content creation, email campaigns, and more. If you're eager to learn, create, and grow your marketing skills, this internship is for you!

About PSC:
PSC is the go-to trade association for the government technology and professional services industry. We represent over 400 member companies—from small startups to major corporations—shaping the future of federal government services. As a PSC intern, you’ll work on impactful projects and learn from industry experts in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Learn and Do:

You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Communications team and get valuable, real-world experience in:

  • B2B and B2G Marketing
  • Social Media Strategy: Formatting, scheduling, and platform best practices
  • Email Marketing: Formatting e-newsletters and crafting engaging messages
  • Website Updates: Learn the ins and outs of content management
  • Marketing Research & Analytics: Understand what works and why
  • HubSpot Training: Gain skills and certifications to set you apart

What We’re Looking For:

We want someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic & Eager to Learn: You ask questions, take initiative, and bring your energy.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Bonus points for Canva or Adobe Illustrator experience!
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: You keep tasks on track and deliver polished work.
  • A Great Communicator: You can collaborate and communicate effectively with a variety of people.

The Details:

  • Location: Our office is in Ballston, Virginia. This role starts in-office, with the potential for a hybrid schedule after onboarding.
  • Hours: Flexible to accommodate your schedule (20-40 hours/week).
  • Pay: $12.50/hour.
