Domestic Sales Intern

Toyoda Gosei North America (located in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Domestic Sales Summer Intern. The Sales Intern will assist the Sales and Marketing team with managing efforts associated with commercial management, sales forecasting, and reporting. The candidate will also assist in planning and preparation efforts for meetings with internal and external customers
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all functions of an Account Manager from routing Requests for Quote (RFQ) to customer quotation and negotiation for assigned parts
- Develop strategy for sales quoting process and present to sales team and management for approval to quote
- Manage internal systems necessary to track purchase order receipt
- Utilize internal and customer systems to ensure proper adjustment of Direct Supply Pricing (DSP)
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years' undergraduate studies completed
- Coursework towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (including Excel)
- Excellent organization and communication skills required
- Strong financial acumen required
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
