Our company provides civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, geotechnical, environmental, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, special inspections and material testing, and grant writing services to a diverse client base.

We have an opportunity for motivated and hard-working Civil Engineering Intern who would like to bolster their education with hands-on experiences. It will be a paid position in Allentown, PA comprised of office and field time. 

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, will work on exciting projects and most importantly, will work in a team environment while gaining practical experience!  This is a great opportunity to gain experience through assisting in multi discipline-related office work and technical aspects of projects.

Job Requirements 

• Completed a certificate program or be enrolled in a four-year program in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with co-workers and clients, so strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. In addition, be able to formulate and clearly communicate ideas to others. 
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Access.

The following items are preferred but are not required: 
•    Knowledge of AutoCAD Map 3D, Civil 3D or REVIT design programs
•    Some familiarity with the engineering industries.
