Job Overview:
The Information Technology intern will support the Technology team to assist in supporting and maintaining our technology infrastructure. This internship provides exposure to different facets of IT, including technical support, network administration, software/hardware maintenance, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Help in monitoring network performance and security, identifying potential vulnerabilities or threats
- Participate in software/hardware upgrades and patches under the guidance of IT staff
- Aid in creating and updating technical documentation, manuals, and guides
- Assist in inventory management and procurement of IT equipment or software
- Support IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or implementations
- Learn and apply IT best practices, policies, and procedures within the organization
Qualifications
- Working towards a bachelor’s or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and IT fundamentals
- Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Office365) and software applications
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work autonomously on self-directed projects
