Description of Work:
This is a grant-funded position lasting up to four years. It provides direct support to the Drug Court Programs by providing case management, coordination, monitoring, and tracking participant compliance. This position requires a working knowledge of the criminal justice system, drug court procedures, and a general understanding of the judicial system. The position establishes and maintains close working relationships with the judges assigned to the treatment court, treatment providers, probation officers and other agencies to which Adult Treatment Court participants are referred, and with the general public. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Adult Drug Court Manager. Assignments are made orally or in writing and work is reviewed through observation of results obtained, conferences and periodic reports or evaluations.
The Case Manager must exercise discretion in dealing with confidential and extremely sensitive issues before the Court.
Minimum Training and Experience Required:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with major study in public or judicial administration, education, social work, or a related social science and one year of experience in program administration or program evaluation; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Location: West Pasco Judicial Center, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34654
Travel may be required to Pasco County Courthouse, 38053 Live Oak Ave., Dade City
Salary: $1,756.53 bi-weekly or $45,670.00 annually plus Pasco County benefits. The position is funded for four years, from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2028
