Are you a talented illustrator with a passion for creating captivating artwork for children’s books? L.T.A. Agency is looking for an Illustrator Intern to join our creative team. This part-time, task-oriented internship provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to inspiring projects for young readers.

Position Overview

Internship Status: This is a paid internship focused on professional development.

Part-Time and Task-Oriented: This role is not full-time. Assignments will be task-specific, requiring a disciplined and independent approach to completing work.

Responsibilities

Create illustrations for children’s books as assigned.

Set up and manage a company account on Amazon KDP for publishing children’s books.

Be open to discussing and brainstorming ideas for children’s books.

Utilize knowledge of multiple languages to help expand the global reach of our books.

Create illustrations for children’s books as assigned.

Follow detailed instructions for each task, including estimated time requirements (e.g., “Please spend 2 hours on this task”).

Complete assignments within 48 hours of receipt.

Maintain a professional and collaborative attitude throughout the internship.

Work Expectations

Remote and Flexible Work Environment: Tasks are assigned remotely, providing flexibility to balance them with your daily schedule.

Clear Understanding of Expectations: Assignments and requirements will be outlined clearly to ensure mutual understanding and efficient execution.

Qualifications

Being on LinkedIn is required to maintain professional networking and visibility.

Knowing multiple languages is required to support the global reach of our children’s books.

A portfolio showcasing your illustration skills (children’s book style preferred).

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Reliable time management skills to meet deadlines.

Communication Guidelines

Limited Communication Availability: Due to a demanding schedule, responses to inquiries may not be immediate. Enthusiasm is valued, but patience and understanding are essential.

Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work independently and adhere to task instructions without requiring frequent follow-ups.

Hourly Compensation for Revenue-Generating Work: All work directly affecting the bottom line of L.T.A. Agency will be compensated at a rate of $15 per hour. Training is included as part of this internship, and the hourly rate applies to all compensated tasks.

Payment Schedule: Payment for billable hours is scheduled every other Friday. Timely submission of timesheets is required to ensure proper processing of payments.

Additional Information

Intellectual Property: All work produced as part of this internship, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, will remain the property of L.T.A. Agency.

Non-Disclosure Agreement: You will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect the intellectual property and sensitive information of L.T.A. Agency.

Professional Conduct: Upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity is expected.
