Mexic-Arte Special Events & Marketing Internship
Position Summary
The Special Events & Marketing intern will assist in managing the Museum’s external communications and executing special events. This includes opportunities to help produce advertisements, press releases, newsletters, brochures, email marketing, and social media content. The intern will earn hands-on experience in coordinating the logistics of large scale events. The Viva la Vida Parade & Festival, opening reception for the fall exhibition, and other events will be coordinated simultaneously and require intern support to execute.
Requirements:
Understanding of PR and Marketing concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized and great with time management
Comfortable juggling tasks and interacting with multiple stakeholders (i.e. vendors, sponsors, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with executing marketing campaigns (i.e. social media marketing, email marketing etc.
Experience working or coordinating events (i.e. social/philanthropy chair for an organization)
Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field.
