2025 Summer Intern, Marketing - California (Bachelors, Hybrid)

This position will be supporting ground breaking work to reduce carbon emissions across Southern California. You will be assisting in the planning, development and implementation of marketing efforts to drive public awareness, understanding and participation. Along with broader efforts, a special focus will be placed on reaching traditionally underserved markets. Collectively, you will be helping our clients, customers and communities to use less energy, save money, and positively impact climate issues for us all. This role sits within Marketing, and coordinates with our creative group, web development team,  and internal subject matter experts. While largely virtual, you will have numerous opportunities to work in person with the Marketing team, and 30+ local colleagues.

 

Our 2025 Summer Internship is a 10-week, full-time program that generally begins in early June and concludes in mid-August. The internship will be hybrid (approx. 2x per week) from our Los Angeles, CA office. At this time, we are unable to provide relocation assistance for internships at this time.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of creative materials, working with our creative team.

Contribute to social media planning and execution.

Coordinate and review various email campaigns sent to customers and stakeholders.

Assist in review and direction of website team in updating and adding content to client website.

Participate in both internal and external meetings to discuss status of tactics, materials and campaigns.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of various documents, including reporting and client presentation content.

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with an emphasis in Marketing or related field (anticipated graduation of August 2025 or later)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities  

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines

Strong motivation and adaptability to learn and understand new concepts and markets

Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Ability to produce quality work products with attention to detail

Familiarity with Microsoft products including Word and PowerPoint
