IT Internship (Summer 2025)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to join our Information Technology department. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of IT while contributing to the success of our organization.
Duties & Responsibilities: All duties and responsibilities are essential functions of the position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
- Technical Support: Assist IT staff in providing technical support to employees. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting with software installations.
- Help Desk Assistance: Respond to help desk tickets and inquiries from employees. Provide timely and effective solutions to technical problems, escalating issues when necessary. User
- Account Management: Assist in managing user accounts, including creating, modifying, and deleting user profiles. Ensure user access privileges are appropriately assigned and revoked.
- Hardware Maintenance: Help maintain computer hardware inventory, perform routine hardware maintenance tasks, and assist in setting up workstations and peripherals for new employees.
- Software Support: Collaborate with IT team members to support various software applications used within the organization. This includes troubleshooting software errors and assisting with updates.
- Network Support: Aid in maintaining network infrastructure and security, including monitoring network performance, assisting with firewall and router configurations, and participating in security audits.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.
- Data Backup and Recovery: Assist in implementing data backup processes and disaster recovery plans to ensure the integrity and availability of critical company data.
- Technology Research: Stay updated on the latest technology trends, software updates, and IT best practices. Provide insights and recommendations for technology improvements.
Required Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general software applications.
